Digital Triptych
We need to choose a story from https://poestories.com/stories.php then turn them in to 3-act structures. We need to create 3 panels digital triptych illustrating each of the act, the size was 900px*600px
The rules need to follow:

• Only one story from this website https://poestories.com/stories.php
• Story from the other website are not allowed
• Visual are displayed in a series of three
• Include short non-spoiler text fir each act

The Black Cat-Edgar Allan 
I choose a story name The Black Cat by Edgar Allan released in 1843, it was a horror story. Talking about a unnamed man having a felicity life but he ruined he own life because off alcohol addiction. The starting of the tory show the reader the man have a normal and happiness life, and told us this man love animal and have a lot of pets in his house. But everything changes when he addicted to alcohol, he started can't control his emotion and started harming and kill the animal in his house, the only animal that didn't get hurt is a black name Pluto. But one day, the man mad with Pluto and his hurt Pluto's eyes, their relation ships was destroy and ending in Pluto gets kill and hanged by the man. 

Then, after Pluto died, the man house burn, after the man escape he started sawing the illusion that Pluto hanged on the three beside his house. The man move to a new place and started finding a new cat as same as Pluto to reduce his guilty. He find another black cat in a bar then took it back to his new house. But the man addicted to alcohol again, one day when he try to kill the new cat, his wife trying to stop him, and he kill his wife with an axe and hide her body and the cat in the wall.

The ending for the story is, polis came to his house to search for his wife and they search noting. When the polis decide to go back, the man stop them and start showing of how well was his house build, the polis hear some voice in the wall. They find the body in the wall because the cat are still alive and standing on top of the body. "I kill the demon and make a graveyard for him!" this is the man last word in the story.

Sketch
I do some research before I sketch out my ideas, I will go a bit darker feeling for this story, I turn this story into three section. The first act is talking about the man alcohol addiction and he kill Pluto, the second act is talking about he meet his new cat in the bar, and the last act is talking about the polis find his wife's body in the wall.

First I decide to let these three act looks like a tarot cards, but I think it too small a so I decided to add it after I finish all three acts.

After sketching, I started to do my work with Illustrator, I will go act by act. I use a lot off shapes tools and pen tools, and also some line tools to support. I try to let it to be simple to make the act can be explore the story straight.

After laying out the out lines, I decided to continue to the colouring section. So go online and find some colour reference and tutorial.

After finish colouring, I decide to add some text in each act, I would like to add some text like American Comics. So I choose Bradley Hand ITC Regular for the text and make it white colour.

Illustration Poster

We need to take part in the "MyTigers Values Art Competition". Basing on the 12 SDG goals chosen, we choose one of them and come out an poster design. We can hand in maximum three, minimum one design for the submission. Reading is recommended to us for the research.

After finish the research I decided to work with the No.4 SDG goal Quality Education. I do some research on it and I sketch out my idea and let Mr.Hafiz give me some feedback.

Idea Sketches

My idea is like to make the poster looks like a exercise book covered by the text book and paper, and I add some dictionary tools to let the poster more stick to the theme(Quality Education). The slogan will be "Education Inspire Potential" and I add the subline that said "Ensuring Quality Education for Every Student" so can let the viewer easily get what is the poster trying to tell them.

Mr. Hafiz said that the idea is good and the design was working, but need to be careful do not let the composition looks complex, let the poster to be essential is recommended, to let the viewer can focus on text. Mr. Hafiz told me that I need to more focus on the text, use what I learn at the typography illustration exercise to create my on font for the slogan is required.

After sketching out the idea, I starting to digitalization the sketches, I decided to complete my task with Adobe Illustrator, I decided to go one by one with the elements I need to use, so I place the basic layout of my poster to so I can have a concept for how to finish the task by step.

After placing the layout, I start with the slogan and subline, I sketch out the slogan then use Illustrator to trace the outline so I can have an unique font for my slogan. For the subline, I choose Bradley Hand ITC for the font.

The next step, I work on the other elements of the poster and do some basic coloring for it.

Because I think the poster are too simple, I decided to add some dictionary tools to enrich the whole composition.

But Ms. Noranis give us some feedback for our poster illustration. I let Ms. Noranis see my poster, the feedback I get is bad, boring composition, she said just choose a typeface in adobe to done with the slogan, it make me a bit confuse, she said just need to minimalization my design. I decided to redo my whole poster, I decided to use the elements I already have in my first poster to save the time, I done search some minimalization design online and some book cover image, I decided to do a book cover for my poster.

Exercise 1-Vormator Character
We need to trace the shapes given and use them to create our own character, the image size was 600px*600px.
The rules need to follow:

• Can rotate, flip and duplicate the shapes
  
• Not obliged to use all the shapes
• Can scale size, but only proportionally
• No skewing or free transform
• No altering the original shapes
• can add, subtract, intersect and group elements as you see fit
• Unlimited colour use
• Can use gradients and texture
• No outline strokes
• No background

The first step is to trace out the shapes given, I use pen tools and shapes tool to trace the shapes out.

After tracing out the shapes, I decided to make my character roughly first to see what it looks like in the .ai files.

So the colour in the first attempts was dark, and after the feedback and the gradients tutorial section, I decided to make some changes on the colour.

Exercise 2-Illustrated Typography
In this exercise we need to use the words generator to help us generate two words, we can generating until the two words we like. The words I get was Owl and Highway.

I keep working on my work, I get feedback and helps from the lectures. I add some 3D model into my words, and make some colour adjustment for them before the submission.

Project 2A-Digital Imaging(Double Exposure)
We need to finish this section following the slide provided. The first part is using the image provided.

Progression-1

I follow the step in the tutorial video, first crop the image out then add the add the background, I choose white color for my background, so it won't be too hard to go with the following works, I will change it in the end of the task.

The next step, I follow the tutorial video to place the forest image. I use mask and brush tools to do the adjustments.

Last, I add some could at the bottom of the image and some bird on the model face and body.

For the next part, we need to find our own photo and reference online. I done with the same step with the part 1, but this time I didn't follow all the things that show in the tutorial, I did some minor adjustment during the progress. All the reference are provided online and some is from part 1.

Project 2B-Poster Design
We need to design a poster with A1 size, the theme must stick with the My Tiger Value Competition. So I decided to make a poster talking about saving nature life. I decided to make a tiger and human staring each other. I decided to just play with the composition and opacity.

I find these both image online, next I decided to place the background, I trying to bring out somethings likes human can live in a nature forest, but was the tiger means animal can live in a modern city? We need to figure out it.

Broken City

I place the broken city image behind the tiger and a nature forest behind the huma. It's trying to said that we can live anywhere either forest or city or any places, but how about those animals? Some of them can't even leave the forest or the sea, so we need to think about reduce destroying the nature. But after placing it, I think it was a bit boring for the poster, so decided to add one more image, so I go search for the image.

Mountain Night View

I choose a mountain night view photo for the adding image, I place it on the whole poster and let the opacity to be very low, so I can see my original things with some star effects. Then I use some color adjustment skill I learn from the past exercise. Then I create a stamp visible layer and change the blending mode to color dodge.
